We make it easy to try a Lingraphica by providing a loaner device, free of charge or obligation, for any qualified patient in your care. Plus, we train you in one short phone session you don't need to be an AAC expert.

How You Get CEUs for the Trial
Before the trial begins, Lingraphica conducts a benefits check for any patient you identify as a candidate for our AAC device. You simply call in the patient's insurance information to us, and our Funding Specialist takes care of the rest. We usually get back to you within 24 hours with the results of the benefits check. If the patient has coverage, we ship you a Lingraphica for the trial, free of charge. That's it. There is no up-front paperwork.
The training takes less than an hour over the phone. There is also a built-in training video right on the device.

The trial usually takes four weeks: two to get you and the patient trained, and two for patients to work with the device on their own and in therapy sessions.
Lingraphica provides a Clinical Consultant to work with you throughout the trial. In addition to training you, the consultant helps you evaluate if the Lingraphica is appropriate for your patient. A patient-evaluation tool is built right into the Lingraphica to make the process easy.
Once you determine that the Lingraphica is appropriate for your patient, you fill out a Certificate of Medical Necessity (CMN) form, which we provide. Your Clinical Consultant can help you fill out this form. Our Funding Specialist obtains a doctor's prescription from your patient's physician and authorization from the insurance provider. You ship the loaner back to Lingraphicare using a pre-addressed and pre-paid return-shipping label. Once we have all the completed paperwork, we ship a new customized Lingraphica to your patient.
If the trial is successful and you order the Lingraphica for your patient, we customize the device. Using information you gather
about the patient's family members, interests, and communication needs on the Personal Interests Form, we configure a device uniquely for your patient. Right out of the box the device will contain phrases like "Hi, my name is John" or "I like to watch the Phillies."
Any SLP who conducts a Lingraphica trial is eligible for 2.4 ASHA CEUs.
