The Lingraphica is covered as a speech-generating device by most government and private insurance plans. Our experienced Funding Specialist will assist every step of the way to make the process easy for you and your patient.
To receive a loaner Lingraphica for a trial, a patient's insurance benefits must be verified. Just call us with your patient's insurance information, and our Funding Specialist will conduct a benefits check. That's it. There is no up-front paperwork, and we will usually get back to you with an answer within 24 hours (including your patient's co-pay, if applicable). We are fully HIPPA compliant and do not share the patient's information with anyone but you.
Once you complete a trial and determine that the Lingraphica is right for your patient, you fill out a Certificate of Medical Necessity (CMN), which we provide. Your Clinical Consultant can help you fill out this form. Your patient signs a release so that our Funding Specialist can obtain a prescription for the Lingraphica from your patient's physician and authorization from the insurance provider. That's it. You will have no other paperwork, and you will not have to talk to the insurance company.

Patients in a skilled-nursing facility may be eligible for a Lingraphica if their status is classified as custodial care.
Some charities and other organizations will provide aid for persons with disabilities. We also offer flexible, no-interest payment plans should a patient wish to purchase the Lingraphica privately.
