Immediate Opening (11/07/2008)

Patient Pre-Certification Specialist:
We have an immediate opening for a full-time patient pre-certification specialist (40 hours a week Mon - Fri in our Princeton, NJ office).

Responsibilities include:

• Manage the Insurance Pre-Certification Process of Patient Initiated Leads:
  1. Inform patients and speech therapists of insurance coverage
  2. Provide information about the Lingraphica and the trial process
  3. Coordinate speech therapists with patients to qualify them as candidates to trial the Lingraphica
  4. Obtain all necessary prescriptions to begin Lingraphica evaluation and patient trial

• Assist with Insurance Reimbursement
  1. Open and sort mail
  2. File patient records
  3. Mail claims
  4. Generate monthly balance billing

Attention to detail and organizational skills are a must. The strongest candidates will be comfortable with heavy phone work (85% of time), have experience in a medical office interacting with patients and family members and possess a sales orientation. Exposure to insurance verification and reimbursement is a plus. The job is primarily focused on the pre-qualification responsibilities and involves working closely with other staff.
